Entrepreneur support
We participate in European Social Fund projects with a focus on entrepreneurship to fight against social exclusion.
We understand the creation of small businesses as a strategy for personal growth and local economic development.
This constitutes a challenge for people belonging to excluded groups in Spain (young people, women, unemployed and immigrants) and allows them to improve their quality of life through their entrepreneurial capacity.
We have been pioneers in the development and application of microcredits in Spain, as a strategy for the labor, social and financial integration of the most vulnerable groups.
Advice to women entrepreneurs
For four years now, MITA ONG has been committed to women entrepreneurs as drivers of the family and local economy. In these years we have seen that women work tirelessly until they achieve their dream. With this project we aim for women to achieve their autonomy and empowerment.
MITA ONG provides them with the necessary tools to carry out their business project and advises them throughout the process.
The itinerary begins with competitions and practical theoretical workshops aimed at entrepreneurs and continues with business advice and coaching. In these sessions, a strategy is created for the first years of the business's life that our technicians closely follow to avoid closure and achieve the sustainability of the business created.
Teleconsulting and advice to small businesses
Small and medium-sized companies in Spain increasingly need an external service to help them evaluate their results and develop their organizational and production processes. However, specialized consultations turn out to have a very high cost for a large number of companies, especially those that need it most.
This is why MITA ONG has created the consulting and consolidation service for small businesses. So that all those SMEs with problems in the income statement or that wish to expand their business, and even adopt a new commercial strategy or production process, can do so with the help of a specialized professional.
Thanks to this program, more than 20 small businesses a year improve their bottom line and have achieved sustainability.
Development cooperation
Development cooperation also takes place at MITA ONG, through co-development and support for microfinance initiatives in the most vulnerable countries.
Convinced of our transformative social purpose, MITA ONG has designed a strategy to transcend borders and manage cooperation projects in line with our socioeconomic development model.
We always count on feedback from our beneficiaries, who express the structural inequalities and economic shortcomings of their countries of origin.
Cross-border cooperation Spain - Portugal
MITA collaborates with the La Palma del Condado City Council, Palos de la Frontera City Council, Al Monte City Council, Lepe City Council, Faro Municipal Chamber and other associations to support entrepreneurs in both Spain and Portugal. We also carry out the project called "Route towards business cooperation and electronic commerce"
The objective is to encourage the incorporation of companies into the information society in both Spain and Portugal and achieve greater cooperation between companies on both sides of the border.
Thanks to this project, 600 companies will benefit and participate in cooperation networks and will obtain the advice and information necessary for their full incorporation into the information society.
Legal advisory service on immigration issues
This service, which MITA ONG offers free of charge to its associates and any excluded entrepreneur who requests it, is carried out jointly with law firms specialized in issues of residence, nationality, family reunification, visas, etc.
The only requirement is the presentation of the identity document (photocopy or scanned document).
One more service that MITA ONG has achieved, in response to the requirements of its associates and thanks to agreements with its excellent collaborators and volunteers.
